The South Devon Big Band is an exciting 24 piece jazz band led by the legendary clarinetist & saxophonist Neil Maya. Formed in 2013 we play Swing, Funk, Latin, Soul and Pop tunes using up to 6 vocalists. We make a big impact for a very memorable occasion of beautiful music. We love nothing better than to give our audiences a foot tapping time of fabulous entertainment!

We play regular gigs throughout the year at concerts, the Bude Jazz Festival, parties, charity fundraisers and Lindy Hop gigs for Mad About Swing in Plymouth and SW Lindy Hoppers in Exeter. Wherever we go we always make a big impression with our vibrant and energetic 24 piece Big Band sound.
